Services Program
More than 20% of children and adolescents have mental health problems and the proportion is increasing yearly. Mental health issues range from learning disabilities, hyperactive behaviours, bullying to drug and substance abuse. Untreated mental health problems lead to poor school performance, high dropout rates, school violence, social stigma, suicides and homicides.

School based Mental Health Programs ensures cooperation between schools, pediatricians, psychologists, child psychiatrists for early diagnosis and treatment of these problems.
Docterz at School provides psychologist/ child psychiatrist which works as a bridge for all these problems. Their role would be

Visit school once monthly

Work closely with school nurse, pediatrician and staff to identify students with /at risk for mental health issues

Assess, identify and design individualised education programs(IEPs) for high risk students

Work closely with family, if needed for children with severe mental health issues e.g. depression

Work closely with school to inculcate programs like Sound Mental Health, Relieving Exam Pressure, Deaddiction Programs, etc.
